Things You Should Never Do Before Exam
There are many reasons behind the fact that some students score well but others don’t. It’s true that intelligence is a true factor but it also depends on the right factors that students make. Do you feel that you’re not ready for your exam? Don’t worry we’re here to guide you!
8 things that students shouldn’t do before an exam:
1. Do Not Use Social Media:
Try to avoid using social media during your exams because it takes too much of your time and focus. This’s the major reason for attention deficiency in today’s generation. Students can’t complete the whole topic without checking their social media accounts (WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram). These are the things students should avoid during their exams.
2. Do Not Compare Your Preparation:
Avoid getting influenced by your friends timetable and to compare your preparation with them. Because, everyone’s learning style is different from each other. So, follow your own way of studying. Let’s suppose, if your friend told you that he/she finished 6 chapters and you finished just 2. At that time you’ll automatically feel demotivated and start rushing through every chapter. Likewise, if your friend studied less than you then, you’ll slow down your preparation and feel relaxed.
3. Avoid Procrastination:
Never procrastinate in your exam preparation. If you’ve only a few days leave for your exam then divide all the topics and start preparing each topic according to your schedule. Typically, students prefer to study one night before the exam. The idea of quick preparing before one night of the exam is just a myth. Try to start your preparation with a good timeframe. If you’ve left any topic, don’t try to study it a moment before the exam. Just stick to what you’ve already studied and spend more time on revising it rather than studying things for the first time.
4. Do not Get Influenced By Someone:
Avoid playing games and other activities like talking to friends because this will take away a lot of your time and focus. Try to spend more time writing what you’ve studied instead of going outside, and chilling with family and friends. Through this way, you’ll make your study more effective.
5. Do Not Try Any Other Books:
When you’ve less time for your exam preparation, don’t try any other books and stick to the same book. Just focus on studying difficult and important topics, it can be uncomfortable but it’s good for you to gain success.
6. Do Not Take Stress:
Whatever needs to be done, must be done before some time of the exam starts. Don’t panic if you’ve done the preparation. Take some rest if you need it and give your mind some time to relax. Remember that exams are just a part of your life, that’s why take it with a smile.
7. Do Not Eat Outside Food:
Avoid having junk food and heavy meals because it’ll make you feel sleepy while you’re studying and impact your mental health too. Healthy diets must be followed during exams such as protein-rich foods.
8. Do Not Oversleep:
Avoid messing up with your routine because it might affect your health. Try to study during the day and sleep at night. Don’t oversleep because it’ll drive you frustrated.
